Organizations

Manage the producing companies, sponsors, and partner organisations connected to your events

An organization is a reusable record for an institution connected to your events — a producing company, co-producer, presenting partner, sponsor, or any other organisation worth crediting on the live site.

Organizations work like people records, but for institutions rather than individuals. They have their own public pages, and the same organization can be referenced from any number of events.

What an organization record contains

  • A name — the institution's canonical name.
  • An optional alternative name — short form, abbreviation, or local-language variant.
  • A description — rich-text body content for the organization's page.
  • A logo or identity image.
  • An address, if relevant to public listings.
  • Links — website, social media, or other relevant URLs.

How organizations relate to events

An organization can appear on an event in two roles:

  • As the producing company — the institution presenting or producing the event itself. Events typically have one producing company, though co-productions can have several.
  • As a participant or contextual organization — for sponsors, partners, supporting funders, or any institution whose involvement deserves a credit.

Both roles use the same organization record; the difference is how the event references it.
